“Our Appalachia” : Free Community Lecture Series
August 25, 2022 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Join us this year for our first series of public lectures! Held at the Rabun County Public Library, these monthly talks will feature a variety of topics, from moonshining and quilting to Cherokee language and culture. No registration required; attendees will be asked to observe Rabun County Public Library’s covid policies. Find current information on their website at www.rabuncountylibrary.org/
August will feature guest speaker Brent Martin. Brent serves as the Executive Director for the Blue Ridge Bartram Trail Society, which maintains a 110-mile memorial trail, following a route as close as possible to William Bartram’s original route through northeast Georgia and western North Carolina.
