Learn the essentials of flint knapping from Foxfire contact Jim Enloe. Classes include basic instruction on how to shape flint and other stones into useful tools such as knives, axe heads, spear heads, and arrow heads using techniques developed over thousands of years around the globe. Students will take home a complete flint knapping kit that includes:

*10 x 10″ Leather Leg pad
* 1″ Solid Head Copper Billet
* 3/4″ Solid Head Copper Billet
* Leather Hand Pad 3/4″x2″x4″
* Ultra 80 Grit Abrader
* Coarse Abrader
* 6″ Deluxe Pressure Flaker

Additionally, students will be taking home tools they make over the course of the class. The cost of all items is included in the ticket price. Students are also encouraged to bring leather gloves. Also, students should pack water, snacks, and a lunch for the day.
