Get out and explore your own backyard or a local park with this simple scavenger hunt!
Use some of the things you found on your walk to make unique paintings.
Got spare craft yarn lying around? Use it to make simple yarn dolls.
If you have the supplies, try making a cornshuck doll. Get creative and dye the husks with food coloring or kool-aid before making the dolls!

Are you doing hands on crafts at foxfire or is it strictly online ? I’m coming up Saturday and need to find something for my 14 year old grandson to do .
In light of the current COVID-19 threat, we’ve halted most activities at the museum, so these are online only. However, the museum will be open for self-guided tours!
