Classified as heavy worsted, one skein would produce a beanie, a pair of adult mittens or a cowl. It is a beautiful chocolate brown with silver highlights. The names of the sheep this yarn is made from and their breeds are as follows: Clarke (Cormo), Clancey (Shetland) and Elsa (Cormo). There is a touch of alpaca in there as well.  .The exact percentages of breeds are 64% Cormo, 34% Shetland, and 2% Alpaca. No dyes used – all natural color.

Each 4 ounce skein averages between 178 – 188 yards and takes about 7 hours to make!  Due to the nature of being hand spun some may have a few yards less, some a few yards more.
